Biography

Violinist Orpheus has given acclaimed solo and chamber performances noted for their energy, passion and beauty of phrasing in the United Kingdom, Greece, Australia, China and Korea. He is in demand as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral and ensemble leader. Recent solo concerto performances include Concerti by Bach, Vivaldi, Handel and Mozart’s 5th Violin Concerto with the Patrick Noronha Camerata at its inaugural concert. He regularly makes appearances at London’s South Bank Centre and at Major Festivals in the UK including the Guildford International Music Festival, River Tango Festival and National Theater ‘Watch This Space’ Festival. His repertoire is broad ranging from the Early Baroque with special emphasis on the music of Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart and Haydn through to the present day, reflected by his passion for contemporary music.
